Josh Shapiro eased through the DNC nomination with his experience and sturdier platform, seeing him past less secure candidates. He built trust and morale in Pennsylvania, the most crucial swing state in the country.
He can certainly repeat that feat in the general election—he has swung the pendulum in Pennsylvanian Republicans’ approval, and he shows so much potential to earn this respect in swing states, which Kamala could not do.
He has a reputation as a reasonable, bipartisan dealmaker while not sacrificing his platform on education, economy, and infrastructure in the least.
With his extensive political experience in the House, as County Commissioner, as Attorney General, and now as Governor, he has never failed to achieve his goals productively in a political position, and there is no reason to believe the presidency will be the first to disrupt this pattern.
As president, Shapiro will bring our country back on track, away from the instability of Trump and the negligence of Biden. American jobs will be created, the economy will be stabilized, and morale will be higher than in recent memory.
Shapiro understands every level of government—not as a celebrity in office, but as a man who can make tangible change for our people.
