Jack Kelly
Co-President
Jack is a junior at Harvard originally from Harrison, New York, but he currently lives in the best house on campus, Pfoho! He is a double concentrator in applied math (for health economics) and government and is interested in using the tools of math, statistics, and computer science to solve important economic and social problems. He is excited to serve as the Co-President of HMC Boston 2025 this year. He was a model congress delegate for all four years of high school, so he is excited to help run the conference he once attended! Outside of HMC, he co-chairs the Institute of Politics' Conferences Committee and likes to go for walks/runs along the Charles River.
Nahla Owens
Co-President
Nahla is a senior from Houston, Texas. She studies Social Studies with a focus on Organizational Leadership and a Secondary in Mind, Brain, and Behavior. Her love for public policy and advocacy stems from her experience as a youth leader in the American Civil Liberties Union and UN Commission on the Status of Women. After graduation, she hopes to continue working in policy and social innovation. When she’s not working with Harvard Model Congress, you can probably find her rehearsing with Expressions (Harvard's hip-hop dance group), teaching 5th graders about civic engagement with the CIVICS program, or organizing events for the Institute of Politics. She can’t wait to work with you all at HMC Boston 2025!
Ana Brito
Vice President
Ana is a senior and Mather House resident studying Economics and History. She is from the greatest place on Earth — Miami, FL — and is passionate about civic engagement and education equity. This is her fourth year participating in Harvard Model Congress Boston and her third year in the board room. When she's not working with Harvard Model Congress, you can find her trying out every pastry shop in the Boston area, going on long walks along the Charles with her roommates, and planning new trips. She can’t wait to meet you all at HMC Boston 2025, her last one!
Stephen Norris
Speaker of the House
Stephen is a senior from Nashua, New Hampshire, studying Applied Mathematics and Economics. Outside of HMC, he is an economics tutor, part of the Harvard Financial Analysts Club, and is researching the influence of inheritance tax policy on family business turnover. Stephen is also the president of Harvard Model Congress Asia, and this will be his 12th HMC conference overall. This year, he is very excited to be serving as the Speaker of the House. During his free time, he enjoys skiing, surfing, and exploring new restaurants.
Atticus Lee
President of the Senate
Atticus is a junior living in Eliot House studying government with a secondary in history. He is from New York City and loves exploring and going on walks in his free time. You’ll always hear him talking about his favorite TV shows (especially The Office) and musical artists (especially Kendrick Lamar). Atticus is also the Finance Chair for the Harvard Korean Association and leads a team of policy researchers at the Institute of Politics. He attended HMC all four years of high school and is so excited to serve as President of the Senate!
Morgan Byers
Director of Special Programs
Morgan is a junior in Pforzheimer House initially from the small town of Commerce, Georgia. She concentrates in Human Developmental Biology and Government, and she is absolutely thrilled to be the Director of Special Programs at HMC Boston 2025! When she is not thinking about HMCB's special programs, you can find her leading the Women's Initiative in Leadership at the Institute of Politics, researching stem cells at Boston Children's Hospital, or serving as an EMT with CrimsonEMS. Her favorite past times include going on long walks by the Charles River, chatting with friends in the Radcliffe Quadrangle, and of course, hanging out with the incredible members of HMC!
Hugo Hinze
Business Manager
Hugo is a junior in Winthrop House, studying Social Studies and Philosophy (and dabbling in Statistics and Art History). He is originally from the southwest of Germany. Outside of handling the finances for HMC Boston, Hugo is the art editor for The Harvard Advocate, and a stage manager for some of Harvard's theater productions — clearly, he loves spreadsheets. In his free time, Hugo loves to cook, read books on the fire-escape of his dorm, and play the piano. You can also always find him in coffeeshops or art museums.
Talia Vaught
Director of Operations
Talia is a junior at Harvard studying Environmental Science and Engineering. She is originally from Bluffton, South Carolina and now lives in Pforzheimer House! She also serves as the Director of Operations and Technology for HMC Asia. Outside of HMC, Talia is involved in the Harvard Climate Coalition, the Society of Women Engineers, the Institute of Politics, and more! In her free time, she enjoys getting together with friends, exploring Boston, spending time outdoors, and playing tennis! And most importantly, she cannot wait to see you at HMC Boston 2025!
Christopher Shin
Director of Technology
Christopher is a sophomore and Leverett House resident from Cherry Hill, NJ, double concentrating in Chemical & Physical Biology and Government with a secondary in Music. He is the Director of Technology for HMC-Boston and is also on the board of HMC-Europe and HMC-Asia. Aside from HMC-endeavors, Chris competes in Harvard's Intercollegiate Model UN Team as a Training Director and leads a team of policy researchers in the Institute of Politics Health Policy Team. Christopher is also an avid musician as a classical pianist and jazz trumpeter, playing in the Harvard Jazz Orchestra and performing chamber music with friends.
Juliet Bu
Co-Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Juliet is a sophomore in Winthrop House originally from Basking Ridge, NJ. She is a Government concentrator with a secondary in Computer Science. Within HMC, Juliet is Director of DEI for HMC Boston and a senior staffer for HMC Asia. On campus, Juliet is also an Associate for Harvard Undergraduate Consulting on Business and the Environment, a member of the Institute of Politics Conferences program, and a writer for the Crimson's Arts section. In her free time, Juliet can be found reading short stories, running by the Charles River, or playing New York Times games.
Laasya Chiduruppa
Co-Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Laasya is a junior in Dunster House from Massachusetts! She studies History and Government with a secondary focus in Education. She will be serving as the Co-Director of DEI for HMC Boston 2025 and is excited to continue on her HMC journey while building community and making the conference ecosystem more accessible. Beyond HMC, she is involved in The Crimson and teaches elementary-aged local students about leadership and civic engagement. Laasya can also be easily found pillaging bookstores and ranking coffee shops in Harvard Square!
Andrew Zonneveld
Faculty Liaison
Andrew is a Junior in Leverett House studying Government and Education. Originally from North Carolina, Andrew's military family has moved all over the country. In addition to being the Faculty Liaison for HMC Boston 2025, he serves as the Chief of Staff for HMC Europe 2025. Outside of HMC, Andrew is a swimming instructor for Harvard Recreation and loves to be in the water. He is also the Co-Chair of the Harvard Institute of Politics Conferences Committee alongside HMC Boston 2025 President Jack Kelly. Andrew cannot wait to be the Faculty Liaison this upcoming year and encourages all faculty members to reach out if they have any issues or just want to connect before the conference!
Andre Ramsey
Co-Chief of Staff
Andre is a Junior at Harvard College studying Social Studies with a focus on the intersections of race, gender and socio-economic status on mass incarceration in modern America and African American Studies. Within Harvard Model Congress, Andre serves as the President of Harvard Model Congress San Francisco, senior staffer for HMC Europe and is thrilled to serve as the Chief of Staff for Harvard Model Congress Boston 2025! Outside of HMC, Andre is a Peer Advising Fellow for first-year students at Harvard and enjoys using his free time to grab coffee, go to the gym and “drop his crunch” at spin class. He is thrilled to bring the energy, fun and excitement to HMC Boston 2025!
Samantha Wilhoit
Co-Chief of Staff
Samantha is a senior in Kirkland House from Barstow, California. She is studying Government with a focus on public and foreign policy. Samantha is Co-Chief of Staff for Harvard Model Congress Boston and Chief of Staff for Harvard Model Congress San Fransisco. Outside of HMC, Samantha is a Deputy Director of U.S. Policy for the Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative and has worked on projects for the White House Council on Native American Affairs, USCYBERCOM, and USAFRICOM. She enjoys practicing martial arts, dance, creative writing, watching baseball, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
AVa Silva
Co-Director of Mentoring and Scholarships
Ava is a sophomore living in Pforzheimer House and is originally from the small town San Augustine, Texas. She is pursuing a joint degree in Linguistics and Anthropology. She is the Co-Director of Mentoring and Scholarships for HMC-Boston and also serves as senior staff on HMC-Asia and HMC-Middle East. This is Ava’s first year on HMC Boston Board and she is incredibly excited to further HMC’s educational mission to as many schools as possible. Apart from HMC, you’ll find Ava enjoying a glass of tea, taking a walk around Cambridge, or hanging out with friends.

Cameron REckard
Co-Director of External Affairs
Cameron is a sophomore in Quincy House concentrating in Statistics with a secondary in Economics. This is Cameron's second year on the staff of HMC Boston, and he is so excited to make this year's conference a success! He also serves on the board of HMC San Francisco 2025. Originally from Sheridan, Wyoming, Cameron is a tour guide at Harvard, and he loves sitting down and playing board games with friends. When he's not working on homework, you’ll find him planning his next trip or catching up on his favorite shows.
Grant Williams
Co-Director of External Affairs
Grant is a senior at Harvard studying statistics and economics, and he is excited to serve as this year’s co-director of external affairs. Originally from Arizona, he loves to hike and spend time in nature. When not working on problem sets on campus, Grant can be found jogging, listening to audiobooks, and reading up on United States politics.
