We are so excited to welcome you to Harvard Model Congress San Francisco 2012 and specifically to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee! Our names are Spencer Todd and Sam Finegold, and we will be your committee chairs.
Spencer is a Junior living in Leverett House. He is concentrating in Government with a secondary in Psychology. Outside of Harvard Model Congress, he tutors in Boston, researches energy policy for the Harvard Institute of Politics, and is involved with public interest law on campus. He also serves as Speaker of the House for HMC Boston, and this will be his third conference.
Sam is a freshman living in Wigglesworth Dorm. He is still wildly undecided, but is considering a concentration in Neurobiology. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and tennis, as well as hanging out with friends and watching It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia! This will be his first HMC conference.
Before the conference, it is important for you all to read all of the information we post on this site. Keep updated on foreign relations issues as the conference approaches. However, you will soon see that the conference is not simply about what is happening in committee, but around the world. Get excited to meet new people from across the country. We are both looking forward to meet you all in January and learn a lot from you all in committee. Feel free to contact either of us with any questions or concerns about your pre-conference research or the conference itself.
See you soon!
